DO THEY DESERVE A PENSION?

Politicians and bureaucrats are the gift that keeps on giving.

Long after March 15th, when the fate of Mayor Carlos Alvarez and County Commissioner Natasha Seijas is decided, and long after a vote to eliminate the position of County Manager...

All three will stick taxpayers with a massive bill.

All three will potentially end up being "fired" from their jobs, Alvarez and Seijas through recall, and Burgess through a vote to eliminate his position.

Yet, all three will collect lifetime pensions that all of us will have to pay.

Also remember that both Alvarez and Burgess will collect six figure pensions for the rest of their lives.

So the question is:

If you are recalled or your position is eliminated, do you deserve a pension?

Ha! These fuckers rip us off with head fucker Burgess making over $400,000 and even if they get hauled out of there, they laugh all the way to the bank.

Of course they don't deserve a pension after they get their very well deserved swift kick in the ass!

Alvarez and Burgess should not profit from their malfeasance. They should surrender their pensions upon departure.

The Miami Herald reported today that Carlos Gimenez has decided to run for County Mayor if Alvarez's recall is successful. However, the Herald was not the first to report this. Check below what has been posted by a blogger on Investigation Miami.

THIS WAS POSTED BACK AS A COMMENT ON INVESTIGATION MIAMI'S BLOG POSTING ALMOST 3 WEEKS AGO ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 8TH. THIS PROVES THAT BLOGGERS ARE COMING OUT TO PROVIDE ACCURATE AND CRITICAL DETAILS OF THE "DIRTY POLITICS" IN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF MIAMI.

Commissioner Sarnoff has always been on Mayor Manny Diaz's team. When Mayor Regalado hired Carlos Migoya, Sarnoff and his team, and Diaz laughed. It was their goal to start getting rid of certain honest, non-political, city employees who knew too much, except for those they know either totally support their agenda or have to lie to protect their careers (i.e. Larry Spring, Diana Gomez, Pieter Bockweg, etc.).

Katherine Fernandez-Rundle is a dear and close fiend of ex-Mayor Manny Diaz. If you recall, they establish their friendship during the Elian Gonzalez ordeal. Diaz represented Elian and Rundle was then and still is the Miami-Dade State Attorney. Most of Sarnoff's unethical behavior is from Diaz's playbook. Why, hasn't Rundle moved forward with investigating Commissioner Sarnoff?

Well, at first, it had to with the people who had to be investigated (including Manny Diaz, Francois Illas, Marc Sarnoff, Brian May, Art Noriega, Rodney Barreto, Alex Penelas, Jorge Perez, etc). She runs in the same inner circles and would shed light to what she has been up to during the time before the County's Mayoral elections. The only person she went after was ex-Miami Commissioner Spence-Jones who knew too much for Diaz's and Sarnoff's sake.

Today, she is becoming increasingly concern about her chances of becoming the County's mayor. Ms. Rundle has brokered a deal with Marc Sarnoff and his power brokers (i.e. Steve Marin, Brian May, Rodney Barreto, etc.)to support and raise funds for her run as the next County Mayor. They have agreed to it. However, Sarnoff has told Commissioner Carlos Gimenez he would be supporting him. This is simply not true. Sarnoff told this to Gimenez so Gimenez can endorse Sarnoff to replace Gimenez as County Commissioner.

What is even more interesting is how Carlos Gimenez has been playing "hard politics" to raise his notoriety beyond his District at the behest of Marc Sarnoff.

How? You may ask. Marc told Carlos Gimenez to go after Elnida Rodan, CEO of Jackson Hospital, to force her to resign.

THE PLAN....to replace her with their good friend Carlos Migoya (Migoya hired and employed the County Commissioner's son Carlos Gimez Jr. before he decided to study law and become an attorney). If successful, Gimenez Sr. would garner the support of not only Sarnoff, but of Migoya's good friend, Jorge Perez, and of Sarnoff's power brokers.

Mr. Carlos Gimenez Sr. and Ms. Rundle you are both being played, similar to how Mayor Regalado has been played. Mr. Gimenez you are not being supported by Sarnoff, he is just saying that seeking your endorsement and all of your suporters from your District to increase Sarnoff's chances on becoming the next County Commissioner. Ms. Rundle, you are also being played, because his support for you, results in your lack of effort of investigating and prosecuting him.

While he screws you both, ultimatley the winner will be the person Sarnoff cares most about. You guessed it, Marc Sarnoff.

My advise to the both of you. Make this a fair election between the both of you, Rundle and Gimenez. You, Rundle, can start by investigating Sarnoff and prosecuting him. Gimenez, you can follow by not supporting and listening to Sarnoff.

Let's not forget these fucking deals being brokered!

We need to make sure that Carlos Gimenez, Katherine Fernandez-Rundle, and Marc Sarnoff are not elected. ALL OF THESE FUCKERS ARE CORRUPTED!

Investigate everyone! Except Regalado and Armando Gutierrez, they are not "corrupted."

Anonymous said...

Investigate Jose Regalado to see if he's being paid by anyone during the last year and a half that he's been 'volunteering' for his daddy. Also, is it ethical for the Mayor to personally push for a city contract for a lobbyist who was Jose's former employer?

Anonymous said...

The definition of being "non-corrupted" is to have Armando Gutierrez on your payroll.

KATHERINE FERNANDEZ-RUNDLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING THESE DAYS, EXCEPT FOR HOLDING USELESS PRESS CONFERENCES, GETTING DRUNK IN PARTIES, AND SCHMOOZING WITH LOBBYISTS AND POLITICIANS?

I can tell you that Broward County's State Attorney is doing his job. Once again, they have arrested another corrupted politician. Cut and Paste the address below into your address bar.

No.

They absolutely do not deserve to receive pensions from us.

Hey anon: Carlos Gimenez has stated in the Watchdog report that he supports a professional from the healthcare industry with a proven track record to become the new CEO of JMH. Also, if you think that Gimenez listens to anything Sarnoff says, you obviously have no idea what you you are talking about. Pretty good trick though, sprinkle a couple of real facts to get credibility, then unload the whopper and everyone thinks it must be true.

Armando Gutierrez said...

Everyone in this County is corrupted.

Kathy Fernandez Rundle needs to take away everyone that opposes Regalado and Braman.

Only Braman and Regalado tell the truth, everyone else is a liars, starting with the biggest liar ever, Manny Diaz.

LOL, if it is Armando, all he is doing is cutting and pasting the same erroneous post over and over. Say something enough, and it becomes true. I guess that is the theory. Whoever it is, you are a big phony jerk!!

Latino Vote = Sans Gay! said...

Cubans won't elect a gay for county commissioner .. what's plan 'B'?

Anonymous said...

Sarnoff is gay. But Regalado is a real macho guy because he cheated on his wife.

Only civil servants who are convicted of a crime committed in their capacity as servants of the public trust should have to forfeit their pension, a la Ken Jenne... But if u r suggesting that Joe Schmo government employee that loses his job because of cut backs should lose his pension then you are truly silly. U also need to distinguish between "executives" (including commsissioners and mayors), police and fire, and your average run of the mill govt employee.

One of the few long term benefits of a government job is a pension. A lower salary and less-glamorous upwardly mobile profession is gladly exchanged for a pension. If not for a pension why work for government ??

Anonymous said...

Working for the government should be public service. Nowadays working for the government is a path to great wealth.

Look at dummy George Burgess? He gets paid $422,000 per year and he gets a $250,000 benefits package. Pension. Health Plan. Vehicle Allowance. Deferred Comp. Vacation Pay. Sick Pay. Expense Account. Etc.

For that he has lost the taxpayers billions.

There are far too many criminals working in the public sector.

What's your point Anon 1449 ?? How many government employees get anywhere Burgess' salary ... The majority of govt employees are model public servants ..u stated working for govt should be "public service" ... Wtf does that mean ??

Too many public sector employees paid by the taxpayers make much more in pay and benefits than they would make in the private sector, if they would be employed at all.

Unskilled high school dropouts cutting grass badly making $40,000 per year plus benefits? Political hires with no skills making $120,000 per year? City Clerk working six months per year making $200,000 plus massive benefits?
