GOODBYE MIAMI!

Gimenez or Robaina isn't much of a choice.

Xavier Suarez is vindicated.

Tomas Regalado is still in office.

Marc Sarnoff will win re-election.

The Miami Herald doesn't care.

Kathy Fernandez-Rundle doesn't care.

The voters don't care.

We were offered a high paying job in Austin, Texas. So we're outta here.

Goodbye Miami!

Before we leave, we can reveal that the REAL reason Regalado voted against the baseball stadium is because the Florida Marlins yanked Armando Gutierrez' contract. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

We leave the fight to Al Crespo, Investigation Miami, The Straw Buyer, and all the other bloggers we are proud to have fought with.

But after the latest election results, we're afraid...

Miami will never change.

I'M NOT WORRIED

The State of Florida fucks Miami over for film incentives but TOM ASS has no response.

Miami Today says that "State budget changes might impact Miami's power to lure future television series and movie productions, but so far there's no organized response on the part of the city."

"I'm not worried," Mayor Tomás Regalado said Friday. The day before, he had attended an event with the producers of "Rock of Ages," a film being shot this summer. "They told me they had been to Detroit and they had considered Los Angeles. They chose to come here, and said they were glad they did. They like the light here; they like the water."

Meanwhile, Tony "I don't give a" Crapp has not hired anyone to head the film office. Someone should call Gottlieb and see what he thinks.

"Lawmakers this past session changed the state's $242 million film incentive funding to cap the amount that can go toward television production. The legislation, structured to urge filmmakers to do feature work in other parts of the state, was sponsored by Rep. Steve Precourt, an Orlando Republican in whose district Universal Studios lies. It offers a 5% incentive to projects that film outside of South Florida."

"The economic impact for South Florida could be $523 million in wages and 87,000 in jobs, said Jeff Peel, director of the Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment."

It's not like we need jobs or money down here.

Sarnoff has it all figured out...

"But if Miami takes a hit when future film incentive funds are divvied up, "then I guess the Dade delegation isn't doing its job," Mr. Sarnoff said."

"Put it this way: there's no reason Walt Disney Studios should have better lobbyists than Miami does."

Hell no!

Miami has Armando Gutierrez and Steve Marin!!!

WFT MIAMI?????

TOP 5 REASONS THE RAPTURE SHOULD HAPPEN TOMORROW

or

DUDE, WTF!?!?!

(in no particular order)

1. THE MIAMI HERALD AND NORMAN BRAMAN ENDORSE "MAYOR LOCO" XAVIER SUAREZ

(SUAREZ' LAST TERM IN PUBLIC OFFICE WAS CUT SHORT BY A JUDGE BECAUSE OF RAMPANT VOTER FRAUD -- SUAREZ SAYS HE WILL BE A GOOD COMMISSIONER BECAUSE HE IS PROUD OF HIS SON, ALSO RUNS ON HAVING LOWERED THE CITY MILLAGE RATE, FROM 9.9 TO 9.7)

2. WE SUPPORT REGALADO BLOG

(THERE'S ALWAYS AN ASSHOLE IN EVERY BUNCH -- WHO KNEW ADA/ANGEL/ARMANDO HAD SO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS?)

3. MIAMI POLICE CHIEF MIGUEL EXPOSITO STILL ON THE JOB

(SEVEN POLICE SHOOTING DEATHS ARE PERFECTLY FINE, PAUL PHILIPS GOT PAID $70,000 TO SAY SO -- IT'S ALSO PERFECTLY OK TO ACCUSE THE CITY MAYOR OF CORRUPTION ON SPANISH LANGUAGE TELEVISION)

4. TONY CRAPP JR. STABS REGALADO IN THE BACK

(IT'S NOT ENOUGH HE GOT YOU A $200,000 JOB, NOW YOU HAVE TO FUCK HIM OVER TO KEEP IT)

5. MARC DAVID SARNOFF, ESQUIRE, "THE ETHICIST," IS HEADED TOWARD A LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN NOVEMBER

(RAISES SOME SERIOUS $$$ FROM THE SAME DEVELOPERS AND LOBBYISTS HE DECRIES -- GET READY FOR MORE LESSONS IN ETHICS -- GOOD LUCK DONNA MILO!)

MR. REGALADO GOES TO WASHINGTON, AND FAILS!

He takes a shot at Diaz in his State of the City address.

He says that:
Unlike other mayors, when I go to Washington, I have not asked for a leadership position or to be appointed to some advisory board, instead I have tried to speak to our legislature and the Obama administration…
He holds a rally with the "poor peeple" to tell DC that the city needs more federal CDBG funds.

He goes to Washington to take pictures with Marco Rubio.

Marco Rubio tells him to fuck off. An aide sends a message saying "Senator Rubio has decided not to introduce or co-sponsor CDBG legislation at this time."

Can't even get the Senator to personally send him a message.

Maybe it's because Regalado's "Fourth Son" Angel Zayon once called the Senator "a faggot."

Do you really think anyone in their right mind would appoint Tom Ass to a leadership position or an advisory board?

So how's DC working out for ya, Tom Ass?

WE ENDORSE LUKE FOR MAYOR!

There, we said it.

And unlike "other" blogs that encourage you to "be serious," we will do no such thing.

In any other "serious" city, if the mayor or other politicians were caught doing half the things we and others have reported, they would be hauled off to jail.

But not in Miami.  This is not a serious town.

Luke has been right on all the issues.

Luke is right that It's Time to recall Mayor Tomas Regalado.

Luke is right that Marc Sarnoff is a racist idiot.

Luke is right that Mayor Regalado is an idiot too.

Luke is right that with bodies hanging over his head, Miami Police Chief Miguel Exposito has to go.

Luke is right that Surprise, Surprise, Michelle Spence Jones is innocent.

Luke is right that Screw the curfew: Miami is not a Communist Country

Luke is right that Miami-Dade's black commissioners have failed the people.

Luke is right that the TSA is racist and stupid.

Luke is right that Rick Scott acts like a drug addict.

And,

Luke is right that the Heat should Give Chris Bosh the damn rock!

We also completely agree with Luke:

Casinos, Pot, and Fun: The Key to New Jobs in Miami-Dade

If we're all going to get fucked anyway, might as well enjoy it.

TAKE BACK MIAMI SAYS:

WORK IT OUT AND VOTE LUKE FOR MAYOR!

THE SMARTEST MAN IN MIAMI

I get a $185,000 a year salary.

I get $800 a month for my car.

I get $200 a month for my cell phone.

I get free health care and a pension.

I get 46 days off.

I've never had a job other than working for Tomas Regalado.

I don't make any decisions and my boss won't dare fire me.

I don't even live in the City of Miami!

The best thing is...

You pay for it all.

WE DON'T NEED NO EDUCATION!

We know that the Mayor never went to college.

We found out in the Crespo Gram Report that Felon Jose Marrero's son in law was hired by the City of Miami at an $80,000 a year job with a waiver of the educational requirement.

Now we can also tell you about the educational journey of the man who many say will be the next police chief.

Little Luis Cabrera, the "Chief of Operations/Assistant City Manager," goes around telling everyone that he is very qualified to do this job and be paid his over $160,000 a year salary because he has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree.

We were tipped off by a City Hall insider that Mr. Cabrera's MBA comes from the American Intercontinental University.

According the Chronicle of Higher Education, AIU has been under serious scrutiny and enrolls "large numbers of students who were clearly not qualified for the high-priced programs they were entering."

"'If you can breathe and walk, you can get into the school,' says a professor who
wished to remain anonymous."

"Not only is the college not helping those students, it is encouraging them to
take out sizable student loans, current and former faculty members and
administrators say."

We wonder who paid for Mr. Cabrera's MBA? Was it the City of Miami taxpayers?

Here's a lesson kids:

Forget school!!!

At the City of Miami, you don't need no education for a high paying job...

As long as you know how to kiss the TOM ASS!

WHY IS BOB MEYERS STILL HERE? TIME TO END THE NON-ETHICS COMMISSION!

Another bottle of wine Gary!  I have a coupon...
We read this morning's Crespo Gram Report and scratched our heads wondering:

Why is Bob Meyers still here?

Has he no fucking shame?

Exposed with his dockers around his ankles...

Asking his secretary to "wear something nice..."

The super ethicist has the BALLS to tell Gary Nelson:

"I go out to lunch with people all the time and I don't see where that's a big deal. Having a glass of wine or two, it's not a matter of anybody's concern but mine."

It was November 11 of last year when we reported the memo to then Mayor Carlos Alvarez accusing Meyers of the affair with his secretary.

The man who is paid $230,000 a year and is "dedicated to bolstering public trust in the administration of government by informing the public and private sectors about the laws and seeking strict compliance with them" operates outside the law however.

Instead of calling for an independent investigation, Meyers and the rest of the "ethics" commission began a witch hunt.
"Michael Murawski, an ethics commission advocate, questioned commission employees under oath in the presence of a court reporter in a bid to find out who had been “rummaging’’ through desks. According to an ethics commission report, some workers found the interrogation created a “hostile’’ work environment.

"In January, the ethics commission issued a report finding no substantiation to the anonymous allegations."
No fucking way!

Apparently for the "ethics" commission, it's not a "big deal" when the executive director takes his secretary out to extended lunches on county time, drinks "a glass of wine or two" while on county time, and then uses county resources and his subpoena power to interrogate and scare his subordinates into silence when they whistleblow.

Notice that AT NO TIME did Meyers ever deny the accusation.

Meyers finally "resigned" in February because he thinks he has "something more to offer the world."

It's now May.

Meyers is still sticking around making $230,000 from the taxpayers.

We called for the elimination of the so called Ethics Commission back in November of last year.

The excellent job done by Al Crespo reporting all the shenanigans and completely "ethical" behavior of this cast of clowns makes our case stronger!

We told you how they spend over 2 million dollars of our taxpayer dollars.

They have 15 employees, 5 making over $100,000.

Robert Meyers - $230,747
Michael Murawski - $146,671
Ardyth Walker - $137,097
Manuel Diaz - $106,859
Christina Seymour - $102,320

AND FOR WHAT???

Crespo is right.

When will the so called "Ethics Commission" go after Mayor Regalado, Chairman Sarnoff, and the rest of them for all the free tickets they receive?

Never.

What about the back room deals with Mark Siffin and the entire billboard industry?

What about the insider dealings at the CRA?

What about turning the mayor's office into a lounge for lobbyists, including our pal the Phantom Mayor?

The list goes on and on and on.

And the "ethics" commission?

Out to lunch (with a coupon, of course).

The Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics continues to breach the public trust by their actions, in-actions, and the unethical behavior of its highly paid executive director.

It's time to end this charade and utter waste of taxpayer funds.

THE STRAW BUYER DOES IT AGAIN: WTF IS GOING ON WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT?

The Straw Buyer does it again!

First it was Veldora.

Now add Thomas Thelusma to the list of City of Miami firefighters indicted for mortgage fraud.

Mr. Thelusma, who according to the Palm Beach County appraisers office owns property in Palm Beach County and has a mailing address in Pembroke Pines (with no record of property ownership in Miami-Dade County), now claims that he is indigent and asking taxpayers to foot his legal bills.

Of course for someone that is used to driving his City of Miami taxpayer funded car (with his gas and insurance paid for by all of us) to Broward and/or Palm Beach County, what's another couple of thousand taxpayer dollars to help him fight his legal case?

What's even better about all this is that the story about Mr. Thelusma came from the Palm Beach Post!  Apparently they have some journalistic integrity up there and will publish stories The Herald Press Office won't touch.

Veldora and Thomas are symptomatic of the bullshit that goes on at the City where they all think they are entitled to reach into our pockets to pay for all their shit!

What is cracker jack professional black city manager Tony Crapp Jr. going to do about any of this?

Absolutely nothing.

ANOTHER BLACK EYE FOR MAYOR REGALADO

Another black eye for Miami police says The Herald Press Office.

Instead, it should read:

Another black eye for Mayor Regalado.

But noooooooo!

The Herald Press Office can't possibly place responsibility squarely on the shoulders of the mayor whose fault it is that Chief Miguel Exposito is there in the first place.

Sure, they continue to spill ink on Julio Robaina.  Is this the twentieth negative article already?

In spite of Crespo, IM, the Straw Buyer, and so many others detailing all the chicanery and shenanigans going on at the city of Miami under the watchful black eye of Mayor Regalado, not a fucking peep from the newspaper of record.

Puppet Tony Crapp keeps spinning the same bullshit.

"City Manager Tony Crapp, who appointed Mr. Philip, told the Editorial Board on Tuesday that the assessment should be on his desk in the next four or five days. Good."

That was enough to placate the Editorial Board.

How long has it been Tony?

How much has Mr. Philip been paid by an administration that railed against the use of consultants?

Who the fuck is in charge at the City anyhow?

Mayor Regalado and his minion Tony Crapp have made a mockery of the City of Miami through their complete mismanagement and The Herald Press Office is totally complicit in not holding them accountable.

Makes you wonder why they keep writing about Robaina while Regalado, Crapp, Sarnoff, Gutierrez and the rest of them keep fucking City of Miami taxpayers robbing us all blind.

THE X MAN COMETH

Sources have confirmed to TBM that former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart is making telephone calls to voters on behalf of former Miami mayor Xavier Suarez in his campaign to be elected to the Miami Dade County Commission.

The X Man, father of city commissioner Francis (who is busy handing "out about $1 a day" to "panhandlers in the Flagami district he represents") has already amassed a $109,000 war chest from the usual suspects, including:

our pal former city manager Carlos Migoya

lobbyist Miguel de Grandy $1,000

lobbyist Steve Marin $1,000

lobbyist Syl Lukis $1,000

Rickenbacker Marina

Diaz Balart brother Rafael

And countless other citizens concerned about good county governance.

The X man has also spent $2,000 to hire Myami Marketing, headed by non other than recall figure Vanessa Britto.  We wonder if Ms. Britto really thinks that The X Man will bring reforms to county government.

Can a 2013 run for vindication as Miami mayor be too far fetched?

Poor Francis better step aside...

Papa X is ready for his comeback special.
