GOODBYE MIAMI!

Gimenez or Robaina isn't much of a choice.

Xavier Suarez is vindicated.

Tomas Regalado is still in office.

Marc Sarnoff will win re-election.

The Miami Herald doesn't care.

Kathy Fernandez-Rundle doesn't care.

The voters don't care.

We were offered a high paying job in Austin, Texas. So we're outta here.

Goodbye Miami!

Before we leave, we can reveal that the REAL reason Regalado voted against the baseball stadium is because the Florida Marlins yanked Armando Gutierrez' contract. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

We leave the fight to Al Crespo, Investigation Miami, The Straw Buyer, and all the other bloggers we are proud to have fought with.

But after the latest election results, we're afraid...

Miami will never change.

I'M NOT WORRIED

The State of Florida fucks Miami over for film incentives but TOM ASS has no response.

Miami Today says that "State budget changes might impact Miami's power to lure future television series and movie productions, but so far there's no organized response on the part of the city."

"I'm not worried," Mayor Tomás Regalado said Friday. The day before, he had attended an event with the producers of "Rock of Ages," a film being shot this summer. "They told me they had been to Detroit and they had considered Los Angeles. They chose to come here, and said they were glad they did. They like the light here; they like the water."

Meanwhile, Tony "I don't give a" Crapp has not hired anyone to head the film office. Someone should call Gottlieb and see what he thinks.

"Lawmakers this past session changed the state's $242 million film incentive funding to cap the amount that can go toward television production. The legislation, structured to urge filmmakers to do feature work in other parts of the state, was sponsored by Rep. Steve Precourt, an Orlando Republican in whose district Universal Studios lies. It offers a 5% incentive to projects that film outside of South Florida."

"The economic impact for South Florida could be $523 million in wages and 87,000 in jobs, said Jeff Peel, director of the Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment."

It's not like we need jobs or money down here.

Sarnoff has it all figured out...

"But if Miami takes a hit when future film incentive funds are divvied up, "then I guess the Dade delegation isn't doing its job," Mr. Sarnoff said."

"Put it this way: there's no reason Walt Disney Studios should have better lobbyists than Miami does."

Hell no!

Miami has Armando Gutierrez and Steve Marin!!!

WFT MIAMI?????

TOP 5 REASONS THE RAPTURE SHOULD HAPPEN TOMORROW

or

DUDE, WTF!?!?!

(in no particular order)

1. THE MIAMI HERALD AND NORMAN BRAMAN ENDORSE "MAYOR LOCO" XAVIER SUAREZ

(SUAREZ' LAST TERM IN PUBLIC OFFICE WAS CUT SHORT BY A JUDGE BECAUSE OF RAMPANT VOTER FRAUD -- SUAREZ SAYS HE WILL BE A GOOD COMMISSIONER BECAUSE HE IS PROUD OF HIS SON, ALSO RUNS ON HAVING LOWERED THE CITY MILLAGE RATE, FROM 9.9 TO 9.7)

2. WE SUPPORT REGALADO BLOG

(THERE'S ALWAYS AN ASSHOLE IN EVERY BUNCH -- WHO KNEW ADA/ANGEL/ARMANDO HAD SO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS?)

3. MIAMI POLICE CHIEF MIGUEL EXPOSITO STILL ON THE JOB

(SEVEN POLICE SHOOTING DEATHS ARE PERFECTLY FINE, PAUL PHILIPS GOT PAID $70,000 TO SAY SO -- IT'S ALSO PERFECTLY OK TO ACCUSE THE CITY MAYOR OF CORRUPTION ON SPANISH LANGUAGE TELEVISION)

4. TONY CRAPP JR. STABS REGALADO IN THE BACK

(IT'S NOT ENOUGH HE GOT YOU A $200,000 JOB, NOW YOU HAVE TO FUCK HIM OVER TO KEEP IT)

5. MARC DAVID SARNOFF, ESQUIRE, "THE ETHICIST," IS HEADED TOWARD A LANDSLIDE VICTORY IN NOVEMBER

(RAISES SOME SERIOUS $$$ FROM THE SAME DEVELOPERS AND LOBBYISTS HE DECRIES -- GET READY FOR MORE LESSONS IN ETHICS -- GOOD LUCK DONNA MILO!)

MR. REGALADO GOES TO WASHINGTON, AND FAILS!

He takes a shot at Diaz in his State of the City address.

He says that:
Unlike other mayors, when I go to Washington, I have not asked for a leadership position or to be appointed to some advisory board, instead I have tried to speak to our legislature and the Obama administration…
He holds a rally with the "poor peeple" to tell DC that the city needs more federal CDBG funds.

He goes to Washington to take pictures with Marco Rubio.

Marco Rubio tells him to fuck off. An aide sends a message saying "Senator Rubio has decided not to introduce or co-sponsor CDBG legislation at this time."

Can't even get the Senator to personally send him a message.

Maybe it's because Regalado's "Fourth Son" Angel Zayon once called the Senator "a faggot."

Do you really think anyone in their right mind would appoint Tom Ass to a leadership position or an advisory board?

So how's DC working out for ya, Tom Ass?

WE ENDORSE LUKE FOR MAYOR!

There, we said it.

And unlike "other" blogs that encourage you to "be serious," we will do no such thing.

In any other "serious" city, if the mayor or other politicians were caught doing half the things we and others have reported, they would be hauled off to jail.

But not in Miami.  This is not a serious town.

Luke has been right on all the issues.

Luke is right that It's Time to recall Mayor Tomas Regalado.

Luke is right that Marc Sarnoff is a racist idiot.

Luke is right that Mayor Regalado is an idiot too.

Luke is right that with bodies hanging over his head, Miami Police Chief Miguel Exposito has to go.

Luke is right that Surprise, Surprise, Michelle Spence Jones is innocent.

Luke is right that Screw the curfew: Miami is not a Communist Country

Luke is right that Miami-Dade's black commissioners have failed the people.

Luke is right that the TSA is racist and stupid.

Luke is right that Rick Scott acts like a drug addict.

And,

Luke is right that the Heat should Give Chris Bosh the damn rock!

We also completely agree with Luke:

Casinos, Pot, and Fun: The Key to New Jobs in Miami-Dade

If we're all going to get fucked anyway, might as well enjoy it.

TAKE BACK MIAMI SAYS:

WORK IT OUT AND VOTE LUKE FOR MAYOR!

THE SMARTEST MAN IN MIAMI

I get a $185,000 a year salary.

I get $800 a month for my car.

I get $200 a month for my cell phone.

I get free health care and a pension.

I get 46 days off.

I've never had a job other than working for Tomas Regalado.

I don't make any decisions and my boss won't dare fire me.

I don't even live in the City of Miami!

The best thing is...

You pay for it all.
