WE DON'T NEED NO EDUCATION!

We know that the Mayor never went to college.

We found out in the Crespo Gram Report that Felon Jose Marrero's son in law was hired by the City of Miami at an $80,000 a year job with a waiver of the educational requirement.

Now we can also tell you about the educational journey of the man who many say will be the next police chief.

Little Luis Cabrera, the "Chief of Operations/Assistant City Manager," goes around telling everyone that he is very qualified to do this job and be paid his over $160,000 a year salary because he has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree.

We were tipped off by a City Hall insider that Mr. Cabrera's MBA comes from the American Intercontinental University.

According the Chronicle of Higher Education, AIU has been under serious scrutiny and enrolls "large numbers of students who were clearly not qualified for the high-priced programs they were entering."

"'If you can breathe and walk, you can get into the school,' says a professor who
wished to remain anonymous."

"Not only is the college not helping those students, it is encouraging them to
take out sizable student loans, current and former faculty members and
administrators say."

We wonder who paid for Mr. Cabrera's MBA? Was it the City of Miami taxpayers?

Here's a lesson kids:

Forget school!!!

At the City of Miami, you don't need no education for a high paying job...

As long as you know how to kiss the TOM ASS!

I just received information from a source who knows Luis Cabrera that his assistant, Basil Binns, has resigned.

  5. Ada Rojas probably got her GED from the school of hard knocks out on the streets dog. Why do you think she has the balls to confront cops with her almight attitude. Would have been nice to see her get tased.

But back to the original topic of waivers of educational requirements. That kind of shit should be proof enough that it's who you know that get's you ahead in the city. If you hang around the decision makers, then you'll eventually get hooked up. If you don't, then screw you cuz you're getting a pay cut.

  6. Luis Cabrera is inexperienced. He should be in a volunteer Internship not ripping off the taxpayers while he learns on the job. Lucky for him the dimwit Mayor likes him.

  7. Basil Binns was a useless turd when he worked for fired commissioner Johnny Winton. If he resigned, good riddance. About time.

  8. If Basil is out ... Springster is not far behind ...

  9. Is anyone seriously surprised by all the "education" waivers, etc ??? The City of Miami is the least professional government entity in the state (and that includes the cities of El Portal and Sopchoppy) ... I'm embarrassed for my race and culture that these low-lifes have done to the fabric of the city government and to the City itself ...most forward-thinking and intelligent Cubans moved to Coral Gables or Broward long ago ...smart move

  10. Why spend any time in school and deal with the headache of student loans when kissing Tomass will land you a six figure job.

  11. The Fire Department only requires a high school diploma. Be a fireman. Make $200,000 per year at age 38. Work 3 days a week.

Or be an idiot and lose the City billions like Larry Spring. Make $250,000.

  12. Hey TomAss, we know you never received a decent education, so my question is-Is that why you are pushing so hard for the renovation of the Marine Stadium so that you can put another illegal charter school there like the one at Watson Island where your grand kids go free of charge? Everyone should look into the meetings he has been having on behalf of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority and when you read the minutes you can clearly see how only the Mayor is pushing for this Stadium renovation. But if you investigate further one of the silent partners in this so call "renovation scheme" happens to also be a friend of the Mayor who wants to get a business on the Key for free. And if you investigate further you will also find how this "friend" also has a charter school in the Grove where parents are complaining about the millions of dollars the guy rakes in yearly and how the education at the school is horrendous. What the fuck does renovating the Stadium have to do with having a charter school there? We the residents need to start bidding bye bye to another million dollar city property that will be leased to another political friend FOR FREE. We the residents need to WAKE UP and stop these illegal transactions and stop the crooked backroom deals before the city is completely lost.

    deals. Don't ya know?

  14. Its not just TomAss its also all his friends and the people he negotiated deals for. Maybe someone should talk to some of the people who have had dealings with the Children's Museum so they can see how the manager of that institution (most of which are illegal uses) extorts money out of the city, county, state, and federal agencies and which at times would definitely be defined as blackmail just to keep her SIX FIGURE SALARY (in a not for profit agency that makes a hefty profit READ THE WATCHDOG REPORT CHARTER SCHOOL AUDITED FINANCIALS)...Miss Rundle here is your other candidate for prosecution!

  16. Check Cabrera's career at MPD and you will find that he never had the full requirement of training hours and exam required for a normal MPD officer, since he started on a now defunct program to be security for the "comedores" and when the funds for the program ran out he was left on the force thru TOM ASS influence.

Why do we need another Charter School at Marine Stadium property? Don't they already have one on Watson Island that only pays $2.00 a year to the City. I wonder how much money does the Charter School make and how much does it pay to the Children's Museum?

Manny Poch wants to receive rent from a new taxpayer funded 100,000+ sq ft building to be built on City park land.

    Manny "Something for Nothing" Alonso-Poch.

  20. Why are city parklands being used for parks? Why did the public pay $3 million for a park full of bones surrounded by 2 enormous existing parks on the north and south of it when Sarnoff could have invested that money in revitalizing the existing Marine Stadium area instead of giving it away to another one of their friends? I didn't even know that Watson Island had a school. Is it even legal to have a school there? I don't remember going through a referendum for any school like we did for Flagstone and Parrot Jungle. When was the school approved? Does anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  21. There is no school on Watson Island. The City has Parrot Jungle and some yacht clubs, chalks and a museum for the kids but no school that I know of. There can't be a school cause it would be illegal.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well you'd better prepare yourself for this one as that is not true... The City does have a school on watson island as Tom Ass his grand children attend the school. Raquelita has her kids in the illegal charter school. Katherine Rundle you might want to take a serious look at this one. Is Raquelita paying tuition on a illegal school on City property? Isn't she a school board member?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well I don't think the school is a well kept secret, I took my youngest child there about two weeks ago and I saw a lot of mother's bringing their kids into the facility and they said they were taking them to school in fact I believe when I looked at their website it talked about its educational programs being aligned with Dade County Public Schools-so is it an illegal school or not? If so how can the city allow an illegal school on their property? Am I going crazy or is this just bizzaro land?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Just to make sure this is true I called the Children's Museum to find out if they had a school and my kids could attend. They in fact confirmed that they did have a school when I asked how much the tuition was they asked me what part of town I lived in. When I said it was in the area of Little Havana I was told they were full up but that they could put the kids names on a waiting list. I said no thanks. About two hours later my husband called the school but this time he said we lived on Bayshore Drive in the Grove. The school was bending over backwards to allow my kids in-the same kids just two hours earlier they told me there was no room. I guess you have to be a Mayor or on the right side of town to get ones kids in there. How many minority children do they actually have at that school?

  25. Sarnoff wants to give the balance of Watson Island to his friend Brian May's client. The same client who was evicted from his Miami Beach office space.

Well it looks like Watson Island is filling up with crooked people running illegal schools. If we can get Poch, Children's Museum, Brian May, Regalado, and their "non-profit" friends on the island at once, maybe one of two things can happen: (1) they will each bankrupt one another out running all of their illegal establishments into the ground; or (2) someone can train the parrots on the island to pull an Alfred Hitchcock sequel of "The Birds 2" and just let the parrots run amonk on the island and extinguish them all-either way I am sure the city, and society in general, will be well served without having these scoundrels walk among us!

  27. Watch Tomas Regalado and Sarnoff try to give Manny Alonso-Poch a sweet heart deal on the taxpayer owned Marlin Stadium site. Cronyism.
