REGALADO$ LOVE THE MARLIN$ MONEY

Well known for his vehement opposition to the Florida Marlins stadium deal, Mayor Tomas Regalado and his daughter Raquelita have no issues in taking money from the team.

The latest example comes from this Herald Press Office article about a new playground for Citrus Grove Elementary School in Little Havana.

When the School Board (of which Raquelita is a member) could not give money to the school to build a new playground because they spend all their money paying the six figure salaries to administrators, the private sector stepped in and pitched in the money for the new playground.

Among the biggest contributors to the $59,000 price tag?

Hunt Construction, builders of the stadium, and the Florida Marlins.

This did not stop Tomasito and Raquelita from grandstanding and taking credit!

Read the list of contributors here

Neither Tomas nor Raquelita gave a red cent to this project.

Is this because Tomas still claims to be poor and worth $5,000?

What about Raquelita?  We are sure that a successful attorney such as her could have spared $1,000.

It's ok for Tomas to dump all over Hunt and the Marlins, but it's ok to take their money and stand there for a photo op when he needs one.

This fucking hypocrite and his daughter need to go!

Anonymous @ 8:01 and 8:02, it is obvious you are one of the same. Do really think that you are going to get Political Cortadito and Crespo Gram Report at odds with each other. No chance!

Please go and kiss more of Commissioner Sarnoff's or Mayor Regalado's ass. Go back to do what you do best.

  5. Anonymous @ 9:51, it has been said that when Frankie Carollo dated Raquelita she carried the balls in the relationship. Now we know it was literally and not figuratively.

  11. Hey, how can Tomasito be poor? He didn't have his salary or his benefits cut like all of his employees in the city! What about all the kickbacks he must be getting helping all of his friends get city properties like the Gusman to his friend Herman and his retarded Miami Housewife? Come tax time he is gonna have to hide that money somehow!

During Monday's CRA meeting Commissioner Dunn took advantage of the fact that Marvin Dunn from Roots in the City was not in attendance (because he was caring for his ailing mother) to reneg on an agreement to extend funding of $24,000 for Roots in the City through July with the possibility of re-negotiating the full $100,000 later on.

The crooked and the corrupted Dunn who was appointed by the Miami City Commission and not elected by his District planted several people in the audience to complain about their discontent about the Roots in the City for failure to create a sufficient number of jobs to show cause for his motion to terminate the CRA fuding to Roots in the City.

This was done as political payback to Marvin Dunn for shedding light of Commissioner Richard Dunn's heavy handed tactics. Commissioner Dunn's tactics, the equivalent of a black on black crime, attempted to strongarm Marvin Dunn to partner up with a friend of the Commissioner by the name of John Townson who is a Liberty City Chef and owner of a so called, pathetic and unsuccessful small vegetable and herb garden and produce hut. As a result, Commissioner Richard Dunn attempted to force Marvin Dunn to give his food to John Townson who is looking to operate a Cooking School and Food Trucks. Mr. Townson does not have no means to finance these operations, but Commissioner Richard Dunn has already promised him CRA funding to finance it.

Michelle Spence-Jones your District needs you. Katherine Fernandez-Rundle you and your office are sitting idle and both you and Commissioner Dunn are guilty of attempted aggravated assault and extortion of Marvin Dunn.

Dear Dishonorable Mayor, City Commissioners, and City Manager,

I'm sure you all know by now that Miami-Dade Transit Director Harpal Kapoor stepped down yesterday as Director midst questions about poor accounting practices and financial controls causing for $185 million of Federal dollars to be frozen by the Feds. This as a result of a Federal audit.

Do you not think this is the equivalent of the SEC investigating the illegal transfers conducted by Larry Spring and Diana Gomez? If so, why haven't you Mayor, Commissioners, or City Manager removed them?

    Readers, what do you think?

When you read this Miami Herald article do you see a name with City of Miami connections? That is right!
Jami Reyes, the chairperson of the Miami Parking Authority. Ms. Reyes is the spokesperson for the Latin American Business Association. Look at the companies and the names and you will see who Art Noriega hangs around with and look at the Miami Parking Authority expenses. It is the 5 Degrees of Separation that Al Crespo speaks about.

There is no way Mayor Regalado is a hypocrite. For god sakes he is anti-Marlins, anti-Development, anti-Miami 21, and everything else proposed and implemented by Manny Diaz, except that he sure seems to have said things in the past that he is not following through in the present.

Here is another Miami Herald article that Regalado is quoted in support of a development called Brickell CitiCentre. Regalado, I thought you said that you were anti-development? Mayor Regalado it is time you need to check your mouth and underwears. Shit is pouring out from both ends.

This is a letter to Mayor Regalado, Commissioners, Tony Crapp, Jr, Chief Miguel Exposito, Chief Financial Officer Larry Spring, Finance Director Diana Gomez, and Budget Director Mirtha Dzeidzic.

I think this is about the time the budget is being prepared. Please cut all training dollars for the Miami Police Department and close the shooting range at the Police College to reduce the City's expense. It is quite obvious no dollars are needed to support these programs as the residents of the City of Miami are live, real-time, non-simulated shooting targets.

Another person killed in Little Havana by a Miami Police Officer.

    Read all about it below.

    Attention Readers,

Please send all your pillows and bed sheets to the Miami Herald. It is quite obvious the Miami Herald is in bed with local politicians like the Regalados. As a matter of fact, you can count on seeing sound bites of one Regalado after another Regalado in their articles.

Read this Miami Herald article below. You will see Mayor Regaldo's daughter, Raquel Regalado, and the Miami-Dade School Board are opponents of reforming their School System. Corruption does not only run County-wide, but in the Reglado's bloodline.

  19. The difference between the miami dade transit issue and the city issue is the county mis-spent and mis-accounted FEDERAL money ... The City abused bond money - which is not federal ... So firing spring and gomez would be a stupid move by the city as they would lose their most effective conspirators ... Tu sabes ??

  29. Raquelita are your kids still going to that illegal school on city property for free or did you move them to one that may teach them something instead of backroom shady deals your father and you usually do? Are you teaching your kids good ethical values or are you just going to continue teaching them what you learned from your father, how to steal, lie, cheat, and basically fuck the public's money and say-"Everyone does it kids, you might as well learn at a young age so you can become our mayor in 20 years when abuelito is dead and your mom is as cenile as abuelito is and continue our dynasty!"

  31. Isn't it a bit of a conflict of interest when children go to a school FREE OF CHARGE because their granddaddy is the Mayor and their mommy is on the School Board? Another conflict may be that the school has a sweetheart of a deal in the city-THAT GRANDADDY APPROVED-and that the school is-ILLEGAL-having NO CHARTER on CITY property and mommy who sits on the school board sees nothing wrong with a "charter" school in the county's district that gets government money left and right and is ILLEGAL and is raking in MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from the school and governmental agencies while giving ZERO DOLLARS back to the city-oh wait-I guess the payback is teaching grandaddy and mommy's kids for free!

  33. I bet anything that illegal school will get legalized through the wranglings of the Mayor and his daughter the School Board angels for the "Little People"...of course those "Little People" really refer to Regalado and his daughter because like they say...Little minds little people....and can you think of two smaller cerebrums than these two mental midgets Tomasito and Raquelita!
