RELAX, LARRY HAS IT ALL UNDER CONTROL!

Go check out Investigation Miami and The Straw Buyer if you want to sleep better at night knowing who is looking out for the finances at City Hall.

Just remember that the City's finances were "squared away" based on the PROJECTED revenue from Red Light Cameras purchased from the Phantom Mayor and the takeover of the Miami Parking Authority.

    Posting- Do you know that Larry Spring owns a condominium on Brickell and requested for Miami-Dade County not to list it on its Property Records Database. Do you know why? Because a major lobbyist/developer paid Larry for his misdeeds by selling him to condominium below market rate.

    Now do you really believe that Larry paid anything for the Condo?

    I'll bet you will find out that he owned the Condominium, which was supposedly purchased below market rate (Not! It was given to him by a Developer/Lobbyist) and he is trying to hide not only his ownership in the Condominium, but his filed Financial Disclosure Forms.

    Anonymous for the readers' edification you posted your blog under the piece entitled, "PHANTOM MAYOR IS GATEKEEPER TO CITY HALL" in TAKE BACK MIAMI.

    Now let me gather and analyze all the information reported by THE STRAWBUYER. Larry Spring purchased a home in 2004 for $150,000, must have given a down payment of $2,318, and recieved a mortgage for $147,682 from Peninsula Bank.

    Around the middle of 2006 Mr. Spring refinances his home for $191,250 with another lender WMC Mortgage Corp. (not the orginal lender- Peninsula Bank), pays Peninsula the outstanding mortgage of $147,682. Then he pockets $41,250, which includes getting back his down payment of $2,318 and the difference of the old and new mortage of $38,932.

    Before defaulting on his loan, he first uses the $41,250 as a down payment to purchase his Brickell Condominium and then abandons his 13321 Polk Street allowing for the financial institution, Deutsch Bank National, as Trustee, for Morgan Stanley ABS Capital Inc., Trust who took over the bad mortgage from WMC Mortgage Corp., to foreclose on his Polk Street home.

    This is a classic case of Mortgage Fraud-Property Flipping Mortgage Scheme. Criminal intent to defraud can be proven with the facts herein:

    1. Mr. Spring intentionally refinanced his Polk Street home for $41,250;
    2. Used that money for a down payment to purchase his Brickell Condo;
    3. After purchasing the Condo, he purposely failed to pay his Polk Street home mortage;
    4. He mortgage flipped on the lending institutions with the intent not pay;
    5. Mr. Spring has the financial resources to have paid on multiple lending instruments.

    MR. SPRING, I THINK YOU AND VELDORA ARTHUR MUST HAVE COLLABORATED IN THIS SCHEME. IF NOT THE ILLEGAL TRANSFERS, YOU WILL BE ARRESTED FOR MORTGAGE FRAUD!!!

    Definitely Mortgage Fraud! Peninsula Bank entered into receivership on June 25, 2010, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was named Receiver. Peninsula Bank was based out of Englewood, Florida. Obviously, too many fraudulent/bad loans were issued by this financial institution.

    Is the timeframe involving these Mortgage transactions between Veldora Arthur and Larry Spring coincidental?

    Smart people have been stating for years that Larry Spring was too inexperienced to be a CFO. Many people have commented on his lying.

    A $250,000+ pay and benefits package. Huge new SUV, new wife. Now Larry is being investigated by the SEC and he is accused of mortgage fraud?

    Average resident makes $27,000 per year with no benefits. Larry deserves no sympathy.

    Larry should do the right thing and resign.

    The only reason Commissioner Francis Suarez was inquiring about Jim Villacorta's salary was because Commissioner Suarez is the Chairperson of the Midtown CRA and not the other two CRAs - Overtown and Omni.

    In a place where the Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager, and Administration has such a high disregard for the "SUNSHINE LAWS", this email was deliberately done as a "COVER MY ASS EMAIL" to deomstrate that he, Commissioner Suarez, is complying with the Resolution setforth the day that Jim Villacorta was fired and Pieter "THE WHORE" Bockweg was hired.

    Meredith Nation is corrupt. When she was a accounts payable clerk in the CIP department she would routinely approve illegal invoices and invoices for work that did not meet requirements. For helping the scammers she was rewarded with pay increases and with a no-show job.

    Meredith Nation reviewed invoices to see which got paid and by how much. She was so naive (or corrupt) she would agree to pay $100,000 for $12,000 worth of work. At CIP money was flying out the door. For contractors with private school tuition payments she was a pinata.

    Nation leveraged the thefts into a 100% raise for herself and later the no show job. How much was she paid while she stayed home?

And no, unfortunately not everyone that is corrupt has been fired, because unfortunately for us taxpayers they run the City, such as the Mayor, City Manager, Commissioners, directors, et al. If you think the corruption of the 90's with Mano Surana was bad, folks, this is 100% worse. At that time the City had lots of properties to sell to come up with the money to survive, now we have nothing to sell, so god help us. Not even an oversight committee can save us now.

    Before Alice Bravo took over CIP the department was divided into three sections: Finance, Contracts and Procurement, and Technical (Design and Construction). Meredith worked in contracts at the time of her "promotion" to DDA. I have never known anyone to call her corrupt. The Contracts and Procurement section have since been moved under the control of Kenneth Robertson. Factual enough ??

    $600K in soft costs ?? It is more than that ... If the construction cost is $3.3M then CIP charged 15% of that for "management" ... And the design fee alone was around $550K ... So soft costs were more like $1M ....total ... Wow ...

    One other fac(: no single person approves invoices at CIP for construction. The project manager approves, then his/her immediate supervisor, two Assistant Director sign, then the Director. For design invoices only the project manager and his/her immediate supervisor sign. The ratio of construction invoices to design invoices (financially) is about 10:1 ....

    Meredith Nation is accused of reading the contracts in a way that favored corrupt contractors and vendors. She was dumb, naive and corrupt and she would not require the corrupt to fulfill the contracts before she authorized money. Others in the CIP Department were just as corrupt. 12 to 14 were fired.

    Why was Meredith Nation given a no-show job? Who authorized the no-show job?
