Go ahead Tony...
Go ahead and fire Chief Exposito.
If you keep him around, he'll continue to embarrass your boss and mentor Tomasito.
Hell, the cops may even kill more black men, and you may get yourself in the middle of a neighborhood you know nothing about justifying why you, an African American city manager, put up with the killing of African American men at the hands of the cops.
If you fire Chief Exposito, then the question becomes whether your boss and mentor Tomasito will be held accountable for putting Exposito there in the first place.
And oh yeah, there's that multi-million dollar whistle blower lawsuit lined up against the city. Last we heard, the complaint is all written up, all it needs is a signature to be filed.
So what will it be "people person" manager?
Is there even the remotest chance that Regalado will do the perp walk or at the very least have to resign?
ReplyDeleteOf course NOT! Welcome to the B.Rep
ReplyDeleteThe Mayor has created a big mess! About a week ago Take Back Miami reported Mayor Regalado attending a Heat Game sitting in a Box Suite. How did that information come out? Well, Mayor Regalado attended the game with Johnny Martinez. Both Johnny Martinez and Alice Bravo informed Commissioner Marc Sarnoff and former City Manager Carlos Migoya. Both Sarnoff and Migoya made sure the story got leaked.
ReplyDeleteMigoya put the people Sarnoff wanted in place so the Johnny Martinez's, Alice Bravo's, Pieter Bockweg's, Bert Gonzalez's, Al Alvarez's, etc. will feed all the information to him and will do whatever directions he gives them. In turn, they got rid of those individuals who would not play the game.
I agree, Tony Crapp has some snakes that report everything to Sarnoff. Sarnoff continues to control the city from behind the scenes. Crapp and Regalado are powerless to stop him.
ReplyDeleteCommissioner Sarnoff was seen with Major Al Alvarez. Rumor has it in the Miami Police Department that Chief Exposito, Sarnoff, and Alvarez have created a file on Mayor Regalado and Tony Crapp, Jr. This has been happening for several months. Both Carlos Migoya and Johnny Martinez have been aware of it. The information collected will slowly be leaked out to the media.
ReplyDeleteIt is known that Carlos Migoya and Commssioner Sarnoff were not enthused with the appointment of Tony Crapp, Jr. After all, it was suppose to be Johnny Martinez. Both Johnny Martinez and Alice Bravo were expecting to be promoted as promised by both Migoya and Sarnoff. Martinez was suppose to be promoted to City Manager and Bravo to Deputy City Manager/Assistant City Manager. If you look at the Capital Construction Project Plan, the majority is occurring in District 2. Sarnoff has reached out to Martinez and Bravo to help him collect information on Mayor Regalado and Crapp to leak to the media.
HARRY GOTTLIEB WAS FIRED EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1ST.
ReplyDeleteREAD ALL ABOUT IT ON THE CRESPO-GRAM REPORT!
I wonder if Gottlieb will say such nice things about Mayor Regalado like he used to.
ReplyDeleteJohnny Martinez worked with Sarnoff and Migoya on setting up the Mayor. I'm no Mayor supporter, but this Martinez guy was known to be a son-of-a-bitch and a backstabber at the County. Question is whether the Mayor and City Manager have the balls to show Sarnoff who is in charge by dismissing both Martinez and Bravo. Word has it that the Mayor is weak with dismissing female employees. Thus the reason why the Finance Director remains employed, even though she continues to publicly criticize the Mayor.
ReplyDeleteRegalado on CBS4 regarding Expos letter:
ReplyDelete"I don't understand what's in the letter"
WTF?! Have someone read it to you! You damn imbecile!
Marc Sarnoff likes to surround himself with Yes Men, particulary Yes Men who are ethically challenged. Bert Gonzalez, Pieter Bockweg, David Karsh...
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 20:00. You must be referring to Martinez setting up Regelado at the Heat game?
ReplyDeleteRumor has it that both Mayor Regalado and City Manager Tony Crapp, Jr. are bringing back a well-respected, no-nonsense, non-political former Director. Maybe the Mayor has seen the light?
ReplyDeleteA wise old man once said that if a man has the City's best interest in mind, than he even has a politician's best interest in mind, because he will act for the greater cause of the community and not just for a segment of the community.
The Mayor's and City Manager's motives of bringing back this former Director might be political though. Word has it that this personnel move will be done to show Sarnoff who is in-charge and will cause Johnny Martinez, Alice Bravo, and Kenneth Robertson to resign.
Tomas Regalado is in charge. Regalado will decide when Chief Exposito is fired. Novice City Manager Tony Crapp just follows orders.
ReplyDeleteLobbyist Armando Gutierrez in in charge. Regalado is just his puppet and Crapp is the puppet of a puppet.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened? Larry Spring fired Harry Gottlieb .. what's the story? Wasn't Harry doing a good job?
ReplyDeleteHow is it possible that Tony Crapp's name is on the letterhead on Harry Gottlieb's termination letter dated on December 29th, when he wasn't officially sworn in until January 3rd?
ReplyDeleteWhat the fuck is going on at this Banana Republic?
Commissioner Sarnoff is going around saying that the Mayor is both powerless and has no balls. From Commissioner Sarnoff's mouth to your ears. Nobody can touch my team consisting of:
ReplyDeleteJohnny Martinez
Larry Spring
Peter Korinis
Alice Bravo
Julie Bru
Chief Exposito
Chief Kemp
Diana Gomez
Sergio Guadix
Jessica Capo
Madeline Valdez
Orlando Toledo
Pieter Bockweg
Veronica Xiques
Who does the Mayor have? Tony Crapp, Jr. HA,HA, HA, HA!
Coincidently enough the majority of these folks were part of Manny Diaz's team. Coincidence? I don't think so! Did you not see how quickly the issue involving the MET in Downtown was resolved by Johnny Martinez, Alice Bravo, and Zimbabwe. Who did they work with? FRANCOIS ILLAS AND JAVIER FERENANDEZ FORMER MAYOR DIAZ'S CHIEF OF STAFF.
Is Veronica Xiques related to Alfredo Xiques?
ReplyDeleteWhy does the Mayor have a difficult time firing female employees ?? ... Only the ones he is/was sleeping with ... Capo, Pina, Westall, Gomez...
ReplyDeleteWho could this former director be that is so strong ??? Hmmm ... A friend to Tomasito AND Crapp ... He is either Cuban or African-American ... Cono - who could it be ?? Someone so desperate for a job they would endure the cess-pool of the City ...
ReplyDeleteDidn't Martinez fire a female for the Mayor/Sarnoff ?? An Assistant Director maybe ?? What was the reason for the firing ?? Can someone look over the list of those fired and see how many were female and what the motives were for their dismissals ??
ReplyDeleteWhat is amazing about your "team" list is the number of them that are currently sleeping with co-workers and elected officials ... even within the list there are "pairs"...
ReplyDeleteAnon 1224 ... V. Xiques is related to Goyanes' balls ...little tiny pea-sized balls .. .. That are covered in money ... :-O ...
ReplyDeleteanon 13:28. I don't know about the others but you shouldn't lump Gomez in with your list. It is not only false but unfair to her and her family.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone else think it's a conflict of interest for Sarnoff and Major Alvarez to pal around town when Alvarez is tasked with heading public corruption investigations? Looks to me like the fix is in. Sarnoff is safe from prosecution unless an outside agency handles the investigation.
ReplyDeleteTo 14:40,
ReplyDeleteSo true. And isn't it strange that a former chauffeur is now in charge of Internal Affairs? In the last three years has IA made any arrests? Started any investigations?
Anon @ 14:01. You nor Diana Gomez will not be getting any sympathy from any city employees, residents, business Owners, readers, etc. She is a backstabbing bitch who has open her legs and given her ass in order not to get fire.
ReplyDeleteWhat about the disbarred lawyer Koteles Alexander? He was accused of assault. His firm went bankrupt owing millions. Disappeared. Disbarred. Now aide to Richard Dunn. More crimes? Taxpayers forced to pay him? Does Employee Relations do any due diligence?
ReplyDelete16:39 - I didn't say sympathy, just don't make up stuff. It lessens the impact of those that are making sense here.
ReplyDeleteThe Crespo-Gram has the latest on Sarnoff's new law firm.
ReplyDeletewww.crespo.gram.com
17:09, what would you suggest this society does with the likes of Koteles Alexander? Does the man deserve another chance at life or should he be exiled to a deserted island? Shouldn't the man have the chance at being a productive member of society?
ReplyDeleteHe's paid his dues to society, enough already with the disbarred attorney and criminal bullshit.
Anon 17:38, you must be Diana Gomez. If you are go bang your boss or give him a blow. I don't know if you have any kids, but if you do, your kids have a pathetic human being for a mother. I feel sorry for them.
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 20:05. I'm a Finance Employee and I can tell you you Diana Gomez has a picture in her office of what seems to be her husband and 2 kids. Employees have said that her husband is a bum. You have to feel sorry for the 2 kids. They have a bum of a father and a mother who will sell her soul and body to keep her job. Pathetic!
ReplyDeleteDiana Gomez may not be the most ethical person around ... But she is a wife and a mom ... I would temper these overly harsh comments .."Pathetic human being" is far too strong a comment ... The elected officials and higher administrators are fair game .. But her kids and spouse should be left out of this ...
ReplyDeleteAnon @ 07:16. While agree that her spouse and kids should be left out of this, why would the elected officials and higher administrators be fair game, when you yourself agreed that Diana Gomez is ethically challenged?
ReplyDeleteYou are either Diana Gomez yourself or one of her bed buddies.
Let me see. Larry Spring, Basil Binns, etc.
Anon @ 7:16 is no other than Scott Simpson former boss and also ethically challenged Chief Financial Officer of the Miami Parking Authority.
ReplyDeleteI don't give a shit who it is! The comment made by Anon @ 7:16 makes no sense. The elected officials and higher administrators are also fathers, uncles, brothers, sons, mothers, aunts, sisters, daughters....
ReplyDeleteDoes this now preclude anybody from criticizing them for their illegal and unethical behavior?
DIANA GOMEZ IS FAIR GAME! IF SHE PLAYS, SHE PAYS!
I agree.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting misty!
ReplyDeleteYes, it’s 2011, and the Commissioner and Cousin Neil have taken their road show to the offices of a pal, but in their hearts they’re the same scamming, lying, unprincipled scumbags that they were when they were operating their law firm illegally out of Sarnoff’s house at 3000 Shipping Avenue.
ReplyDeleteSarnoff & Bayer, a weasel-dick, unethical politician , and his dumb, free-loading cousin. Now that Harry Gottlieb is gone there’s an opening for the biggest idiot in the City of Miami, and these two have decided to go for the title as a team.
Bring back Glenn Marcos now !!!
ReplyDeletethat would be mistake.
ReplyDeleteWhy would bringing Marcos back be a mistake ?? Because he is honest and competent ?? Because he does his best to follow the law ??
ReplyDeleteKoteles Alexander? Still on the taxpayer payroll? Obviously ethically challenged. Disbarred? Then he advised Michelle Spence-Jones. How did that work out? Anyone seen Spence-Jones lately? Giving same advice to Dunn?
ReplyDeleteI agree. Koteles Alexander should never be paid by taxpayers to advise elected officials. Look what happened to Spence-Jones. It was Koteles who accepted the pay-off money from developer Armando Cordina. Trial coming up.
ReplyDeleteTony Crapp needs to fire 300-400 employees. Now. Does he have the balls?
ReplyDelete
