  2. $250,000 in special interest monies (on the record) plus whatever cash might have been floating around. I've never seen a none issue referendum get donations of $30,000 and $25,000 like these out of towners funnel to this pack.
Remember that the bulk of the $250,000 came from cities outside of Miami, trying to (which they die)influence the results, WHY?????

Sarnoff won, since he is one of the big fundraisers for the PAC.

  3. Well I'm very proud of the Cuban-Americans who voted to keep the Miami Parking Authority away from our local money hungry City Government. Everybody did the right thing.

  4. The voters had no choice. The money hungry executives of the Miami Parking Authority or the money hungry executives at the City of Miami.

All MPA meetings should be televised. I bet Jami Reyes and Art Noreiga will refuse.

Someone should explain why so many out of state vendors sent cash to the MPA to defeat the City?

  5. The same reason banks such as JP Morgan and others wanted the City to take over the MPA. Dont kid yourselves, it costs money to run a "company" which is what the MPA is. It makes money, just ask the city.

  6. The MPA gambled the public's money on interest rates several years ago. Art Noreiga et al lost over $7 mil. In the private sector he would have been fired and blackballed.

Last year the MPA only gave the City $999,000. If the MPA makes any money they use it to pay themselves and treat each other to Heat games.

  7. Then why didn't Mayor Regalado win?

  8. The public had no option. Crooks at the MPA or crooks at the City.

  9. no no, some crooks are better than others apparently

  10. True. Art Noriega of the MPA is such a great crook he gambled away $7 mil of the taxpayer's money and then gave himself a raise. That's a great crook.

  11. WHO IS THE BIGGER CROOK?4 November 2010 at 07:25

And yet, "da peeple" would rather trust Art Noriega, crook and all, with the MPA over our beloved man of "da peeple" Mayor Regalado.

  12. Exactly. The voters were given a choice of Crook A or Crook B.

  13. Yes, and they chose Crook Noriega

  14. Now the MPA can go back to quietly and completely stealing the public's money.

  15. Tomas Regalado? What happened with Tomas? Anyone read Miami New Times re Mark Siffin and his goal of 50 story LED billboards in lowly Miami?
How did Regalado allow himself to be taken in?

  16. Is Miami the most corrupt city in America? Imagine a convicted heroin dealer easily buying Regalado and Sarnoff and getting them to ignore all city laws so he can put up 50 story billboards downtown?
