If you do not speak Spanish, you are screwed, because the
Carollo reveals the names of those behind gambling machines in Miami and Hialeah, going as far as to state that these interests were involved in meetings at the City of Miami where Mayor Regalado assembled a team of city bureaucrats to discuss ways to implement the gambling machine ordinance.
One of the men involved with the machines and present at the City meeting, Jesus Abreu, has prior arrests for gambling machine violations, and the arresting officer was none other than City of Miami Police Chief, Miguel Exposito.
Could this be yet another reason why Regalado wants Exposito gone?
Carollo reiterates that he IS NOT running for office, but that Regalado's son IS RUNNING for State Representative...
Carollo also addresses allegations that he is working for Magic City Casino, and refutes those allegations.
In fact, Carollo then goes on to say that our pal Angel Zayon (who is paid over $100,000 in salary and benefits), has a T.V. show from 8 to 9 am, whose main sponsor is the Magic City Casino. The show was given to him because Zayon is Regalado's spokesman.
The sponsorship from Miami City Casino is a payback to Regalado for protection from noise ordinance and other violations.
Carollo finishes with an analysis of Regalados' campaign reports where irregularities appear, with close to $40,000 unaccounted for.
Carollo says Regalado is immune because he controls the press through his contacts, Zayon and the Phantom Mayor Gutierrez, and he has the State Attorney quiet also.
Carollo finishes with a challenge to Regalado, to debate him anywhere!
Of course, NO ONE in the Miami Herald will report this...
Why?
Rabin and the Herald are ACCOMPLICES to this raping of Miami taxpayers by Regalado and company!
ReplyDeleteSHAME ON YOU!!!
Cubans do not have a monopoly on corruption my friend, just look at Marc David Sarnoff and Reverend Dunn.
ReplyDeleteIt's the Herald's fault for not exposing this. It is also sad when the citizens of Miami have to get their news from Take Back Miami and and Al Crespo and not from the "press."
Why is Tomas Regalado allowing more illegal billboards in Miami? Are bribes being paid?
ReplyDeleteCheck out the commission agenda. Remember the "mural" on the police department building that was going to raise a couple of hundred thousand for the city this year? It has now morphed into a BILLBOARD! Wonder if Sarnoff's friend from the bid is making money on this one. We know the phantom mayor and Regalado are.
ReplyDeleteYes.
ReplyDeleteRegalado and Sarnoff are promoting Clear Channel and it's plan to put LED billboards on the City of Miami Police HQ property. Another massive billboard wasting electricity to distract drivers.
Check the campaign contribution accounts.
And WHO ARE THE LOBBYISTS???
ReplyDeleteThe Phantom Mayor Armando Gutierrez and the scum Steve Marin...
MARLINS
ReplyDeleteMANNY DIAZ
MARLINS
MANNY DIAZ
Where are the Feds on these gambling machines?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the Feds on the lobbyists and their suspicious influence?
ReplyDeleteBribes?
Good old Commissioner Francis Suarez crazy father Xavier Suarez looking to run for the Commission seat. Father and son might be sitting together on a Miami-Dade Board? Francis's aide Mike Llorente's brother Marcelo Llorente running for County Mayor!
ReplyDeleteNot so fast my friends!!!! Corruption scandal is soon to be revealed involving Commissioner Francis Suarez and Mike Llorente.
How about WHERE ARE THE FEDS?!
ReplyDeleteKathy Fernandez is bought and paid for my friends. Unless the FEDS step in here and sweep the corruption, it will be business as usual for a long time. Time for everyone to wake up and START VOTING instead of letting the lobbyists Gutierrez and Marin manipulate elections with the absentee ballots.
ReplyDeleteFelix Lasarte is a lobbyist for Clear Channel. Who else has Clear Channel hired? Which commissioners take money from them? Take money then vote? Conflict of interest much?
ReplyDeleteSteve Marin also has billboard clients and he goes around telling everyone that Suarez and Sarnoff are in his pocket.
ReplyDeleteRev Dunn's neighborhoods are getting overrun by new billboards. Slum and blight happening with his approval. Think Dunn knows he is ruining his district or does he just want the campaign contributions?
ReplyDeleteAnd all the billboards are for tobacco and malt liquor, thanks Reverend Dunn!
ReplyDeleteJoe Carollo is a lobbyist for Miami Magic Casino...no competition!
ReplyDeleteFrank Carollo doesn't live in his district! Follow that one up...
ReplyDeleteHey Armando, get your facts straight. Carollo said he is NOT a lobbyist for Magic City casino. Come up with a new excuse.
ReplyDeleteYou and Tomas are going to prison baby!!!
Why are people high up in the City of Miami getting federally indicted without a single mention in the media?
ReplyDeleteWhich City employee or elected official has been indicted?
ReplyDeleteDisgraced CFO Larry Spring?
Ex-Mayor Manny Diaz?
Tomas Regalado?
I should have a copy of the indictment some time tomorrow. If my source is correct they were indicted back in November yet somehow it's been kept very quiet. Even worse this person still has her job where she's in charge of all the $ her agency spends!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnon 19 February 2011 18:14
ReplyDeleteWhat do u mean the FEDS are needed to sweep away corruption ?? Regalado did that already on April 8, 2010.... He said so ... So it is !!
Remember the SEC are the same regulators who let Bernie Madoff steal money for 16 years even after they were told he was a fraud.
ReplyDeleteAnon 18:24 And you believe him? Can I sell you an Igloo in Miami? ROFL!!
ReplyDeleteI believe Carollo more than I believe Armando Gutierrez and his constant lies.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to sell igloos, the City of Miami and Regalado will buy them, just make sure you pay Armando Gutierrez the $50,000 "consultant" fee.
This is a guy (Joe C) that dates a woman for a couple of months, marries her and then divorces her...all in less than 6 months!
ReplyDelete10:32 Who Cares? Would you rather he act like Mayor Regatardo and stay married "till death do they part" and all the while cheat on his poor wife and embarrass her everyday? Please, Raquel couldn't trust him and neither can the citizens. At least Joe can acknowledge his mistake and correct it.
ReplyDeleteOh come on...where have you been living all this time, Jersey Shore? The guy cheated on his wife and also has a record of domestic violence. Give me a break. If you are going to make and argument, let it have some substance.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to dopey Frank Carollo? He caved to Clear Channel? Votes to approve more billboards?
