  18. It's shameful how the Miami Herald and the Miami New Tines don't acquire a copy of this video from Channel 41. The video clearly shows Tomas Regalado,Jr. as the Executive Producer of this video involving the MPD. They sure were quick to dump on the Chief when the video, without the closing credits, first came out.

    I think readers would want to know that the mayor's son is attempting to profit from the city his father governs. It will also show that the mayor lied in front of the Commission and to the press when he said all his son did was to introduce the film crew to the chief.

  19. What you see is sometimes not what's the truth. The Crespo-Gram Report tonight - 8 PM - will reveal some information that raises legitimate questions as to whether Tommy Regalado really was an "Executive Producer" on Miami Finest.

    By now you should know that I don't mince words, and that I think the Mayor needs to be removed from office, but, fair's fair, and sometimes truth gets ignored for a good story.

  21. I saw the rest of the newscast in Spanish and the real producer says he is friends with Tommy Jr. and put his name on there as a courtesy. Regalado should have explained this, his denial is what pisses me off, like he is hiding the truth.

    All he had to say is something along the lines of "my son was listed as executive producer as a courtesy for introducing the real producers to police."

    Instead, he says his son "has nothing to do with that film."

    This guy has been lying since he took his seat on the City Commission back in the 1990s and no one in Miami seems to care, in fact, we made him mayor!

  31. If this were the first time Regalado was caught stretching the truth, I would agree with Al that is it making a mountain out of a molehill.

    But this is a pattern, a pattern that started when he took free gas from the City and then said he was exonerated when in reality if you read the SAO memo Regalado was not prosecuted because they lacked evidence.

    Then, Regalado waited until he was mayor to arrest and fire the GSA director who investigated him back in the day (with Exposito's blessing).

    Regalado is a cynical liar, who continues to lie and mock the citizens of Miami because he knows his friends in the media will back him, Kathy Rundle fears him, and the insane old Cuban ladies vote for him.
