Recall those actually responsible for the Miami-Dade tax increase.
Let's see how much support Billionaire Braman will give this effort, and Mayor Regalado who begged Braman not to go after his friends Commissioners Boris Bruno and Natasha.FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEMedia Contact: Vanessa BritoPhone: 786.547.8084E-mail: brito@yourmiamivoice.org
Petition Forms to Recall Five Miami-Dade County Commissioners to be Submitted Today
Miami, Fl (October 7, 2010) – Political Action Committee (PAC) Miami Voice heads to the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Courts office this morning to submit petition recall forms for five (5) of the 13 Miami-Dade County Commissioners. Miami Voice will launch a campaign to collect voter signatures calling for the recall of Barbara J. Jordan (District 1), Audrey M. Edmonson (District 3), Bruno A. Barreiro (District 5), Dennis C. Moss (District 9), and Natacha Seijas (District 13).
Miami Voice Chairman Vanessa Brito and Treasurer Barbara Walters will visit the Miami-Dade County Clerk of Courts office today at noon (12:00pm) seeking approval of the five petition forms. The recall effort comes as a response to the Commission vote approving a 14% property tax increase for Miami-Dade County homeowners. All five commissioners voted in favor of the increase.
“The recall effort is a direct response to the Board of County Commissioners and the decisions they have made over time that have led to this tax increase,” says Miriam Planas, Co-Chair of Miami Voice. “Residents have given commissioners countless opportunities to reverse the effects of their decisions, but they have continued to put their interests over ours. Now, we have to pay the price – this is unacceptable.”
Miami Voice’s effort is separate from Norman Braman’s campaign to recall Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Alvarez. Miami Voice supports Braman’s efforts and will collaborate in every way possible.
And what about City of Miami?
Can a recall effort for Commissioner Chairman Marc David Sarnoff, Esquire, be far away?
Great news.
ReplyDeleteWe have momentum and we should not let go. It is time to recall Corruptalado and Liaroff. We need to use all of the information we have gathered and inform the public. City employees, including Police and Fire, are continuing to help at all levels by gathering information. We thank you for your efforts and continue with the good work! Soon we will take our government back from the corrupted, which should also mean recalling Suarez.

ReplyDeleteIs Rolle included or not?
ReplyDeleteI'm in for the Sarnoff recall. Tell me what to do.
ReplyDeletewhere can i sign?

ReplyDeleteWhile we're at it, let's term limit these mf's!
ReplyDeleteRECALL:
ReplyDeleteMAYOR CORRUPTALADO
COMMISSIONER LIAROFF
COMMISSIONER "I'M CRAZY AND CLUELESS AS MY FATHER" SUAREZ
FRANCIS DOES YOUR FATHER SEE UFO's. AFTER ALL HE SAW DEAD VOTERS!
Francis Suarez es un maricon! He is the son of one and he sold his soul the minute he was born.
ReplyDeleteToo difficult to recall Sarnoff. Even if you got enough signatures he would win in the subsequent election unless a very strong candidate ran against him.
ReplyDeleteBetter bet is recalling 5 Miami-Dade County Commissioners and the vapid Carlos Alvarez.
Sarnoff only gives the appearance of strength.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Dunn work to elect Austin.
ReplyDeleteKoteles is running District 5. Get rid of the ethically challenged Dunn before his ethically challenged staffer can get his hands on money from lobbyists.
ReplyDeleteDisbarred lawyer Koteles Alexander does manage lobbyist money... because the Dist 5 commissioners are too dumb and too stupid. Lobbyist money get spread around. Just ask Billboard Bockweg.
ReplyDeleteVoters can choose Alison Austin?
Did you all hear that Carollo cancelled his districts fruit tree give away for a real stupid reason? While every other Commissioner's flyer was the same, he felt his name was not in big enough fonts and had it cancelled!! Hundreds showed up to the cancelled event. How did this guy get elected?
ReplyDeleteThe best way to attack Sarnoff is to support Alison Austin for D-5 Commissioner. Dunn has shown that he is Sarnoff's 'boy' and will do anything to get the contributions. He voted for giving away $10.4 million of CRA money meant to reduce slum and blight, increased operating expenses to hook up Sarnoff's pals, voted to spend $2 million on the museums when they don't even have funding. God knows what he promised the billboard companies in exchange for the contributions.
ReplyDeleteThere is a fundraiser for Alison next Thursday at La Loggia on Flagler street from 6-8 pm.
ReplyDeleteDunn is desperate to keep the money flowing. $104,000 per year for a part-time job he PROMISED ON A BIBLE he would not run for...is too juicy to pass up.
ReplyDeleteDunn voted for the two deadbeat museums on Bicentennial Park. They will cost the taxpayers more than the Performing Arts Center. That was a $1 Bil loss.
Where do I sign up at. My County Commissioner is Moss and I will do my part to re-call him. If you live west of the turnpike and SW 137 Ave its like we havent had a Commissioner in years. He seen to enjoy approveing more and more shopping centers west of SW 147 Ave, its almost built out to Krome Ave. Time for a change, let kick the five commissioners out of office NOW....that includes you Commissioner Moss!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCarollo is Regalado's boy and will do anything for him.
ReplyDeleteCommissioner Moss refused to allow any commissioners to make improvements to the $3.5 Billion Bailout of the Marlins. Moss would not allow any protection for the taxpayers. Moss acted and sounded like he was on the Marlins payroll.
ReplyDeleteCarlos Alvarez demanded the Marlins not pay rent. (The taxpayers are loaning the Marlins the rent money interest free.) Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria celebrated by buying a summer house in NY for $20 Mil. The estate is called "Casa el stupido Miami-Dade County taxpayers".
Did Akermann Senterfitt hold a fundraiser for Dunn during work hours at which city employees were present?
ReplyDeleteI think you know the answer.
ReplyDeleteAkerman Senterfitt lobbyists and attorneys work for many suspects trying to get contracts and money from County and City bank accounts.
ReplyDeleteThink Akermann would let Ricahrd Dunn visit its offices if he wasn't an appointed commissioner?
Akermann Senterfitt lobbyist Michael Abrams represents the two broke museums that want free waterfront land on Bicentennial Park. Oh, by the way, the two broke museums want $1 Bil from the taxpayers.
ReplyDeleteAbrams also gets money from the Overtown CRA. Dunn is the Chairman of the Overtown CRA.
