REGALADO DESCARADO - REGALADO BRAZEN SHALEMESS

Appearing as a comment on yesterday's posting, this YouTube video is making the rounds in Miami, calling Mayor Regalado "un descarado" translating to brazen and shameless.

Produced by the mysterious "Yudislady," the video shows montages of Regalado with the lyrics talking about Regalado's game machines and mafia connections.

Meanwhile, the Herald Mayor's Press Office reports that "The City of Miami’s revenue projections for the current year were so overly optimistic that a reserve fund once flush with $141 million may be almost completely tapped by the end of the month, less halfway through the 2011 budget year."

Herald reporter Mayor's Press Secretary Chuck Rabin does not include a single quote from the shameless Mayor, or any indication as to how Regalado plans to fix this dire fiscal emergency.

Perhaps Mayor Regalado and Phantom Mayor Armando Gutierrez were too busy cashing their checks from the gaming and billboard industry to speak with Rabin.

Tony "I don't know" Crapp offers no help either except to say that "the city was looking into building a new marina south of Virginia Key that could add revenue to the reserve."

We wonder if the new Marina will come with giant LED billboards.

Regalado, Crapp, Spring, and the Phantom Mayor are running the city straight into bankruptcy.

Regalado, Migoya, Crapp, Spring and Sarnoff have proven themselves to be idiots at balancing a budget. Smoke and mirrors, as usual.

Even idiots can figure out the City needs to fire 500 employees, and the $100,000 and up employees must go first.

Not adopting this resolution will prohibit the City from mortgaging our present debt into the future, which will cause for the City's debt to grow exponentially. Thus, the reason why Commissioner Carollo questioned the financial analysis conducted by PFM.

However, the fundamental question is whether the City Commission will "do the right thing" by not adopting this resolution and finally allowing for light to be shed on the City's current financial condition for what they are. Any decision to the contrary places this Mayor and City Commission under the same microscope of the previous Mayor and City Commission. The one constant during this financial fiasco has been the employment of THOSE MORONS- Larry Spring and Diana Gomez.

Can anybody tell me why Commissioner Frank Carollo is taking on the role required to be performed by the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Director?

Further, Commissioner Carollo and Commissioner Sarnoff has openly questioned Larry Spring's numbers and integrity in the past. So tell me Commissioners, how exactly has Mr. Spring been able to gain your trust and support?

Hmmmm, I think the answer lies in both of your closets....Lies, illegal pay raises to your staff members, hiring employees during a hiring freeze, trees being relocated to your homes, etc.

As for Miami Herald's reporter, Chuck Rabin, I think an alcohol/drug test will expose major character issues with him.

My fear is that, come budget process, the little people will be the ones affected and the big salaries will not be touched. To me that is not only wrong but also immoral.

Tony "Shit for Brains and Full of" Crapp says, "the city is looking into building a new marina south of Virginia Key that could add revenue to the reserve."

Observation #1- Before adding revenue to the reserve, you must expend dollars first to construct the marina. Public dollars the City does not have.

Observation #2- Since you said it, back it up. Where is the feasibility study supporting your statement that the Virginia Key marina will bring revenue to the reserve?

Observation #3- Will the marina be publicly operated or privately operated? Take a look at the Dinner Key Marina vs. Rickenbacker Marina (Revenue Comparison Study).

Observation #4- Tony how long will it take to have the Marina built? Estimates will show between 2 to 4 years. So what is your fucking point? You need revenue now, not in the next few years.

Observation #5- Based on the revenue generating projects proposed by the City Administration (i.e. consisting of former City Manager Carlos Migoya, Larry Spring, Diana Gomez, Mirtha Dzeidzic, Jeniffer Ramirez, and you, Tony Crapp) for this year's budget cycle every forecasted revenue was off target by 60%. Any numbers person knows that when you are forecasting your assumptions one should be extremely conservative not aggressive. Your approach has been in the contrarian. Obviously, you have intentionally and deliberately "Cook the Books" to hide the losses and delayed the obvious which is bankruptcy is looming for the City. Where are your working papers ore revenue forecasting analysis for each project that was proposed to bring revenue that would have offsetted the expenses to balance this year's budget? THERE IS NONE!

NOT THE MIAMI HERALD, NOT THE TELEVISION NEWS STATIONS, NOT THE FUCKING MAYOR OR COMMISSIONERS HAVE ASKED FOR THIS INFORMATION? WHY? ANY BUSINESS THAT WOULD OPERATE IN THIS MANNER WOULD NOT SURVIVE AND NEITHER CAN THE CITY.

CHUCK RABIN, PLEASE DO US A FAVOR. EITHER ASKED TO BE RE-ASSIGNED OR RESIGNED, OR I WILL EXPOSE THE FACT THAT YOU ARE TOO BUSY WITH HAVING THE BOTTLE UP YOUR MOUTH AND MAYOR REGALADO'S, COMMISSIONER SARNOFF'S, TONY CRAPP'S, AND LARRY SPRING'S HANDS UP YOUR ASS!

Lobbyist and Phantom Mayor Armando Gutierrez is behind the Virginia Key marina deal, make no mistake, because this enhances revenues for long time customer and Regalado friends at the Rusty Pelican.

Chuck Rabin does not ask these questions and is a poor poor excuse for a reporter.

One of Armando's favorite places is the Rusty Pelican. No wonder! Bet he is involved with those guys!

Where are all the environmentalists like Steve Hagen and Grace Acosta who berated Manny Diaz for years over Virginia Key? Do they know about the Marina plans???

Anonymous said...

Yes. They are looking into building a Virginia Key Marina and allowing the private sector operate it. Madeleine Valdes who is corrupted (she gives public property away (leases) under market value) by swaying business in the direction of the Mayor's and Commissioner's lobbyists, families, and friends. This will be no different with Virginia Key. Armando Gutierrez and Rosario Kennedy are involved. Thus, the reason why they have been trying to get rid of the Virginia Key Beach Trust. These efforts have been led by Mayor Regalado and Commissioner Sarnoff and Tony Crapp and Larry Spring have been assisting.

Life can funny, amusing and unfair when you really start looking at things for what they are.

FACT: The suppossedly alleged crimes by former Commissioner Spence-Jones were committed while she was in Office.

FACT: The illegal transfers committed by Diana Gomez, Finance Director and Larry Spring, Chief Financial Officer were committed while employed by the City of Miami.

Question #1: Why is it that Spence-Jones have to seek and pay for legal representation to defend her alleged crimes, while the City of Miami have engaged and are paying for Gomez's and Spring's legal representation to defend their crimes?

Question #2: Isn't this a double standard?

Questions #3: Why hasn't the Mayor, City Commission and City Manager asked this question?

Question #4: Why is the City footing Spring's and Gomez's legal bill?

Question #5: Doesn't this send a loud message to the residents of the City of Miami that paying for their legal bills means that the Mayor, City Commission and City Manager support and defend the illegal transfers committed by Gomez and Spring?

Question #6: Is this part of the cover-up scheme? You shut the hell up Gomez and Spring and we will provide and pay for your legal representation?

BIG DILEMMA/BIG QUESTION: WILL DIANA GOMEZ AND LARRY SPRING TAKE THE RISK AND FALL IF THE CITY'S LEGAL REPRESENTATION FAILS TO GET THEM OUT OF THIS MESS?

MY OPINION- I DON'T THINK SO!

In the meantime, Mayor, City Commissioners, and City Manager prove to us, the residents of the City of Miami, that you disapprove of this type of criminal behavior by not providing Gomez and Spring legal representation.

North Observer you are dead on to something here. Why settle the matter unless the former and current Mayor and Commissioners were involved? They are trying to settle here before the SEC uncovers the involvement of not only City of Miami politicians, but the Miami-Dade County Administration (i.e. George Burgess, Carlos Alvarez, Bruno Barreiro, etc.) politicians. THIS WAS PART OF THE GLOBAL AGREEMENT AND THE REASON WHY MICHELLE SPENCE-JONES IS BEING PROSECUTED BY STATE ATTORNEY KATHERINE FERNANDEZ-RUNDLE. MANNY DIAZ AND COMMISSIONER SARNOFF ARE BEHIND ALL OF THIS.

I hope the SEC does not settle, because it sends the wrong message to honest and ethical government employees.

Sarnoff's campaign manager lobbyist Steve Marin represents the code violating Rickenbacker Marina. They are always looking for handouts.

The SEC should indict any of the City officials involved in illegal money transfers. Further, the criminals should be forced to pay their own legal fees.

read your post you moron. You expect the SEC to catch the city of Miami when they couldn't catch Madoff even after Markopolos told them Madoff Securities (with proof)had been a ponzi scheme for over 5 years. Cut me a break and read a newspaper for Gods sake.
